Yass!! The long awaited Avengers Endgame is out and it met expectations. More importantly for me, it brought closure. It didn’t even have post credit scenes to show you how much closure it had! 😂 Okay, I’m not gonna give any spoilers, I’m just gonna say it was interesting.🏃🏾‍♀️

More interesting for me is how it bares a lot of semblance to the final endgame which will happen in reality when the world comes to an end. I know it’s not common to hear the phrase ‘Jesus is coming soon’. Kinda like modern Christians have chosen to shy away from it. However, just as every other part of the Word of God is true and infallible, so is this!

I remember watching the Avengers Infinity War and seeing how Thanos wiped out half of the earth. The very disappearance act caused knots to form in my tummy. The visualization made it easy to imagine what rapture would look like. It freaked me out!

To think that one day, the trumpet will sound and some will be caught up with Jesus in the clouds, while others (hopefully not any of us) would be left behind. Behind in a world where the devil will have total control to unleash wickedness.

Thanos also bares some semblance with the devil- he’s out to kill, steal and destroy at all costs. Remember the part where he gave up his beloved daughter’s life in exchange for the soul stone? Ah yes! Whatever it takes to perpetrate his evil acts- same as the devil. Well, the difference is that while Thanos is completely fictional, the Devil isn’t 😂

As we revel in the creativity and awesomeness of Marvel Studios, we’ve gotta take some time to meditate on the final Endgame (rapture). It’s time to tie up loose ends, and set aside that sin that so easily besets us. It may look daunting to prepare for Jesus’ return, but I believe daily steps with daily doses of grace will help us get there.

Most importantly, it all starts with having a relationship with Jesus. To do this, please say the prayer below meaningfully.

Dear Jesus, thank you for loving me before I even knew you. Thank you for dying on the cross for all my sins. I confess them before you and I accept your forgiveness. Please come into my heart and be my Lord and savior. I want to live for you here on earth, and be with you in eternity. This I pray in Jesus name, amen. ❤️❤️❤️

I’m super psyched you said that prayer believing that He has heard you! Boy! is he happy to be in your life- He’s been waiting! 🕺🏼🕺🏼

And for those of us who have long received Jesus, I pray for the grace to live lives that are in true readiness for His coming. Try not to have spiritual fat like Thor had in the movie. Keep that spiritual

muscle tight and active 😉
