I made a Bulgarian friend last year and I tried to learn how to say hello. It went something like— Здравей, приятелю — even I couldn’t pronounce it. 😂

I’m intrigued by the diversity in cultures and languages we have in the world. I think God really had fun that day at the Tower of Babel when He divided men by various languages.

After my attempt at speaking Bulgarian, I realized nope! That ain’t for me 🤦🏽‍♀️ Pas pour moi! 🙅🏽‍♀️ My French is still crappy after spending two semesters learning it. Even my DuoLingo app is tired of reminding me to continue learning a new language. 😂 My children are definitely learning foreign languages from the womb in Jesus name! Somebody say Amen! 😄🏃🏾‍♀️🏃🏾‍♀️

New languages are pretty hard to learn. Yet, they’re so cool to listen to! So I’ve resolved to enjoy meeting people from different countries and languages. You never really know how limited your worldview is until you open your mind to the beauty in cultural diversity. Cheers to broadening your horizon!

    1. Oh nice! I had this short term when I learnt Arabic, and I remember having to write from the back of my notebook 😄 And as for Korean, I go as far as the ones I’ve learned from Korean series 😅
