Day 4 of Gratitude

Hello!

Welcome to day 4 of our 30 Days of Gratitude challenge.

This month has been full of miracles for me. Things I wanted, I received. Even as tiny as a bow hair ribbon I wished for. I have had several reasons to laugh and to testify! This is so significant because less than a week ago I was crying in my pillow about how lost and stuck I felt. I couldn’t see the light. I just couldn’t. But as I focus on gratitude, my mind is forced to shift from what hasn’t been working to what is working. I have a million miracles to thank God for! Day 2 of Gratitude

Hello, lovely one!

How was your day? I’m glad you could join me on this 30 Days of Gratitude challenge. There’s something wonderful about the way gratitude shifts our focus from what’s not working in our lives to what is working. It reminds us that even though we aren’t where we wanted to be, we realize things could be worse; but they aren’t. We are still alive and with internet access for you to read this post. When you really look, you’ll find that there are many things to be grateful for.

M’s Musings on Mental Health

I hope you remember to show more empathy,

I hope you try to listen without prejudice,

I hope you’re there when your friends tell you they want to end it all.

I hope you’re not afraid to open up about your struggles,

About the demons you’ve faced, and the ones you’ve destroyed.

I hope you are a safe space for others,

I hope love flows out of you, unforced.

I hope you are someone’s sunshine,

I hope you’re a light that beckons to others,

A light that reminds them that the darkness isn’t forever.

I hope you heal,

I hope you laugh again,

And I hope you find the reason to enjoy life again.

As we recognize World Mental Health Day, I hope you recognize that you matter more than words can say.

Love,

M.
