Yay! We’re fast approaching the end of the 29 Things To Do in 29 Days Challenge!!! I’m pretty excited about the prompts for the past few days. Let’s get right to it!

Learn Something New

Yes!!! I learnt how to dance Salsa for the first time in my life. To be honest, I was so anxious about how I’d fare in the class (probably stepping on the foot of my dance partner and embarrassing my ancestors while at it).
Of course, it didn’t happen as crazily as I had imagined it. Like with everything we learn, you have to allow yourself fail and make mistakes and try again. So, I laughed at myself when I would miss steps or when I’d feel like I looked silly doing some of the routines.

In the end, I had so much fun while exercising! I was also really happy with the people I met, and particularly grateful to my friend who convinced me to give it a try. Maybe, before you say no to new adventures, you may wanna give it a try first. 😃

Try a New Restaurant
I actually got to hit two birds with a stone, as the restaurant hosting Salsa classes was one I hadn’t been to before. As a burger fan, I had to try theirs out! Not many places have been nailing the right burgers for me. So I gave it a try! And I was pleasantly surprised as I sunk my teeth into the soft bun, cutting through the chicken and lettuce fillings. The dining area was beautiful but I had to do takeout so I could be fully immersed in the dance class.

That’s it about my experience! I like how this challenge makes me try out new things, and basically come out of my comfort zone ever so often.

You’ve gotta dance like there’s nobody watching, love like you’ll never be hurt, sing like there’s nobody listening, And live like it’s heaven on earth.
