November Writing Challenge

Happy new month dear reader!

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you find all the faith, hope, love, and encouragement you need to not only get by, but thrive!

I’ll be commencing a new blog challenge all through this month to keep myself committed to blogging, and to share with you thoughts and inspiration as they come.

You’re welcome to join in personally! (You can develop your writing through consistency —practice makes perfect!) So please, join me as we take this journey!

How do I explain

How do I explain how I feel?

Words betray me,

Tears cease like a well without water,

My heart is frozen,

Still as an iceberg,

I haven’t even scratched the surface.

How do I explain?

My mind can’t wrap itself around this,

No excuses can dignify this,

Finding out that what was, isn’t

And what is, never was,

Oh! The mystery continues.

Perhaps, some things are unexplainable,

Or maybe the heart just doesn’t want to hear what the head has to say.

Maybe… instead of explaining, I’ll just show you what I mean.
