Hi there!

So I got back pretty late from work and was about to crash when I remembered I had committed myself to a blogging challenge. Schucks! The beautiful thing about making decisions is that when you make them, you kinda have to follow through whether or not it’s favourable.

Let’s get to today’s challenge, shall we?!

Day 3: What kind of person attracts you?

Yet another interesting one. Well, some of my friends already think I’m sapiosexual, but it’s too cliché to use that word. I’m really just attracted to someone I can have good conversations with about every and anything. Someone with depth and value to offer. Someone who understands sarcasm and can give witty remarks. Someone whose mind I can explore and vice versa. Someone with a spirit man that is alive and connected to the Source of Life. Someone who understands growth. Someone I can have deep emotional connection with. One who has same taste in music and in food. And yeah, someone who just gets me, you know. Also add one who is really cute and has beards 😂😂😂

I think it’s only natural for us to have a list of things we like about people and which endears us to them. But beyond that, we also have to be good people in order to attract the right energy to our lives. The Bible says that “a man who has many friends must himself be friendly .” -(Provs 18:24). So while we have what attracts us to people, we should also develop what would attract people to us.

Let your true beauty come from your inner personality, not a focus on the external. For lasting beauty comes from a gentle and peaceful spirit, which is precious in God’s sight and is much more important than the outward adornment of elaborate hair, jewelry, and fine clothes. -1 Peter 3:3‭-‬4 (TPT)

It’s more than just a pretty face. More than a perfect body. It’s the meek and gentle spirit in us that would not only attract people but also keep them. Develop that.

I leave you with the words of this picture:

As always, I’d like to hear your own answer to today’s challenge 😁😘

Love,

M.

  1. The problem with you is you spy into my head too much.

That’s my answer to who attracts me. Then include some one who shares my kind of humor.
If male, I’m attracted to brown skin 😉

  2. I really like the quotes you use in your posts. I need to check out some of those sources.
Thanks for sharing. I need to look up that word “sapiosexual” – new word on me.
