Dear Diary,
The rains are back! Woo-hoo! Of course I can only be this excited when I’m not outside at the mercies of the elements π But really, those rainy moments sure ease out the crazy heat in this region. That said, how has your week been? Good, bad or just there?Β
Well my week has been pretty good. When routines change, it’s easy to lose track of time you know. I’ve had to critically examine when my productive hours are and put major tasks there. Do you know your productive time? You should! At least it takes away the guilt of having a wasted or unproductive day.
In this year of Discovery and Exploration, I’ve not really been as intentional about learning something new everyday as I planned. However, I still find myself learning something new; whether it’s a new technical tool at work or some deep life philosophy from a friend.
You know, it’s possible to have the vision of where you want to be in life yet the processes towards it would be totally unforeseen. Life will smack you and panel beat you to shape. This is God’s molding process. I was telling a friend the other day that I’ve seen so many attitudes and habits in my life that can’t go where I’m going. So I’m well aware that my molding process is ongoing. It’s going to get real uncomfortable! But it’s necessary for growth.
Look at plants that have to be underground as seeds and when they germinate, they still have to be smacked by rain and sun- whether they like it or not. Growth is one of the things that make us living organisms. Emphasis here is not on physical growth but all round growth- spiritual, career, relationship etc. You ought to be growing. Speaking of physical growth, someone’s birthday is in 6 days π
What new thing have you learned so far this year? Feel free to share in the comment section.

Have a fab weekend!
Love,
M.
One thing I found out this year is, I tend to procastinate, a lot! Which has gotten me into trouble a couple of times. This has made me learn how to prioritize. It’s something I’ve been struggling with but I’m getting at it.

Ah! Procrastination gets the best of us. Yes prioritising really helps. Glad you’re getting better at it. I’m still learning π Thanks Zee for sharing. Xx

For me, procrastination isn’t so much about the prioritizing portion… It’s just outright doing the task. I thought I figured out how to “get over that bump in the road”, but that yet has to come. π
