No More – James 1:13-15

Beyond the shadows
In temptations lair
I lost myself
To my own desires
Where death set itself
Against the life inside
And hope fades to grey
It was there I fell
Until the Lord came along
He gave me the strength
To say no to my desires
To fight the temptation
And extinguish their fires
I walked in His ways
Further from temptation’s call
Until they lost their voice
And I heard them no more
