Sometimes

Sometimes, it is better to leave 
than stick around. 
If we’re honest 
sometimes being the one who held out 
the longest isn’t a worthy crown. 
And sometimes, 
know when the game’s up 
and when the referee calls the end. 
Sometimes, know when to walk away, 
keep your head held high 
and don’t even say goodbye!
