Like a needle pulling thread making a regalia of royalty
Like a palace slave pledging his service of loyalty
Like a rudder steering a ship on course
It has the power to bless and curse
Like a palace slave pledging his service of loyalty
Like a rudder steering a ship on course
It has the power to bless and curse
David slaying Goliath sounds funny
But such is life’s irony
It makes our world thorny or horny
Depending on how it’s utilized
It’s our David taking on a Goliath world
It calls forth what is not to be
‘Cos it’s power and dominion belongs to me
By it my confessions are made
By it my possessions are claimed
I see, I hear, and it takes a form
A form in my heart adding up like an arithmetic sum
Now I realize I need not hum
Because my tongue, what I conceived now speaks
I see, I hear, I think, I speak and now I must act
For these actions I need no tract
It’s the truth; o yes! It’s a fact
A fact as solid as a pyramid
